Statement:
My work is concerned with rhythm, form and the interaction between layers of pattern. There are analogies to musical structures and architecture. My original training was in constructed textiles, followed by the study of basketry at the London College of Furniture. The sculptures I now construct reflect a marriage between the two disciplines.
