Some of the work is a repetition of very large panels hanging in relationship to each other with windows/distortions and changes of scale. The netting is sometimes stiffened to make units which can be built together. Recently the work has fibre optic thread to direct light into cosmic arrangements. Mary Giles Coils waxed linen and produces large scale ambitious forms, figures and vessels, often incorporating wire.
