Statement:
My works are a coming together of my life experiences. My basketmaking reflects a longtime interest and study of native California flora and fauna. Both, in turn, increase my involvement with my surroundings. Ever so subtly, plants cycle from winter to summer. Each day, week, month brings changes that effect the materials that I collect and use for my baskets.
